  24. Well, I never saw one do it, but a friend of mine did at the local college.
  25. They had to dismantle the drive to remove the disk!  Its an improvement tho,
  26. some of the older Pet drives (I think the model number was 8080 but I could
  27. well be wrong) used to do the same, except the power transformer would give
  28. a sudden rise in temperature on shutting down and actually *melted* the disk
  29. into the mechanism before the head dropped!

  33. I'm not entirely sure, I think it says Cosine Systems but I do get carried
  34. away when I'm drawing...  I'll include it again and if anyone has a better
  35. interpretation please let me know!
